In Ascension, Paul Boereboom and Leon Rogissart create a sensory VR experience where gravity, direction and perspective are temporarily suspended. The starting point is a floating tank, a space without weight or anchor where you are immersed in an intimate stream of arias, imagery and disorientation. 

For YOU ARE HERE – but not really, this immersive performance has been given a new context: the Palmarium, where voice and space come together in a slow, physical ritual. Not a story, but a state; somewhere between the mind and the heart, inside and outside, disappearing and appearing. 

There are three performances throughout the evening. First come, first served. No entry or exit once the doors are closed.
