Composer and electronic musician Marie Delprat constructs a solo performance in which rhythm collapses and vocals become a resource. She uses semi-modular synths and live voice manipulation to make pulse dissolve into texture, groove into fracture. Inspired by Ariana Reines's A Sand Book and developed within the SHAPE+ platform (google it!), sound becomes a place of uncertainty in this solo performance: unstable, unresolved, shifting. Delprat uses the codes of deconstructed techno as an invitation for you to listen in disorientation.
