33 is the performative sound laboratory run by Billy Bultheel and Alexander Iezzi, a sonic organism in constant transformation. Their hybrid live set sounds like a trance: baroque voices, fractured rythms, industrial sound fields and electronic eruptions overlap. Speakers, bodies and signals appear and disappear. No stage, no frontal spectacle. The audience wanders around in the hall. 33 is incantation and composition, performance and process. What you hear moves faster than you gaze; what you see sounds different from what you think.
